Christy Manders, Kindergarten Teacher
Mrs. Manders has been a Kindergarten teacher for 29 years. Mrs. Manders has been on staff at PCA for 7 years. She attends church at the Endeavor Church where her husband is a deacon. Mrs. Manders loves planning crafts, worshiping God through song with her class and co-workers, and spending time with her family. "I am thankful that God brought me to PCA, for allowing me to serve here as a PCA Warrior."
Sarah Ortner, 1st Grade Teacher
I have been at PCA as a 1st-grade teacher for 4 years and was a PreK teacher here at PCA for
8 years. I have been teaching full-time since 2010 when I graduated from Athens State University with a degree in Elementary Education. My husband Chad is a pastor here in Harvest. We have 2 children, Connor and Savanah, and a shih-tzu named Chewy. I love spending time with family and friends, reading, being outdoors, laughing, and music. Teaching and Jesus are both passions in my life, and being able to combine both in my classroom each day is an honor.

Bridget Franklin, 2 Grade Teacher
Josh Loyd 3rd Grade Teacher
This is my first year at PCA. I have a Bachelors in English from the University of Mississippi and a Masters in Missiology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. I am currently finishing a degree in Education at Athens State. My family and I attend The Brook in Madison, AL. I love being outdoors and most of my weekends are spent coaching my three sons in soccer.
Shayla Wilson 4th & 5th Grade Teacher

I graduated with my Bachelors in Sport Management with a minor in Event Management at Troy University and am currently working on my Masters in Elementary Education at Troy University. I have three younger sisters, Kaitlyn, Lizzy, and Amber. I attend Harvest Baptist Church and love worshipping God through teaching and singing. This year, I am teaching 4th and 5th grade ELA and Bible. I am looking forward to my first year as a PCA Warrior!

Kimberly Metz, 4th &5th Grade Teacher
Math, Science & Social Studies
Mrs. Metz has been a teacher at PCA for five years. This year she will be the 5th grade homeroom teacher, and teaching 4th and 5th grade Math, Science and History. "I love swimming and reading in my hammock. I have been married to Brian for almost 23 years and I have two children ages 13 and 14.

I have been at PCA since 2015. I am a single mother of five adult children and two high school children. I also have five wonderful grandchildren. I love Jesus with all of my heart and enjoy serving Him at PCA.
